How do I find a service provider?
Use the search bar on the homepage or browse by category. You can filter by location, rating, price range, and availability. All providers on TownLoop are verified.
How do I book a service?
Visit a provider's profile and click "Book Now." Choose your service, preferred date and time, and confirm your booking. You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details.
Is TownLoop free for homeowners?
Yes. TownLoop is completely free for homeowners. There are no fees to search, book, or review providers. Providers pay a subscription to be listed on the platform.
How do I leave a review?
After a completed booking, you'll see a review prompt on your dashboard. You can rate the provider 1-5 stars and leave a written review. Only verified homeowners with completed bookings can leave reviews.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. Go to your Bookings page, select the booking you want to cancel, and click "Cancel Booking." Cancellation policies vary by provider — check their profile for details.
How do I manage my properties?
Go to the Properties section in your dashboard. You can add multiple properties, set a primary residence, and manage service history for each one.
For Providers
How do I become a provider on TownLoop?
Click "For Providers" in the navigation and complete the registration form. You'll need to provide your business license, insurance documentation, and service details. Our team reviews applications within 48 hours.
What does it cost to list on TownLoop?
TownLoop offers three subscription tiers: Starter ($9.99/mo), Pro ($29.99/mo), and Premium ($79.99/mo). There is a 3.5% transaction fee on bookings. We never charge commission.
How do trust badges work?
Badges are earned through verification, not purchased. Licensed, Insured, and Background Checked badges require documentation. Top Rated and Popular badges are calculated from real reviews and completed jobs.
How do I manage my availability?
Use the Availability section in your provider dashboard to set your weekly schedule, block off dates, and manage booking windows. Homeowners can only book during your available times.
When do I get paid?
Payments are processed through Stripe. After a job is marked as completed, funds are deposited to your linked bank account within 2-3 business days.
